Cosmote România este al treilea operator de pe piața de telefonie mobila din Romania. Operatorul a primit a treia licență GSM de la guvernul român în decembrie 1998 și s-a lansat comercial în martie anul următor, sub numele de Cosmorom, schimbat mai târziu în COSMOTE. Compania a anunțat în aprilie 3007 depășirea pragului de 2 milioane de clienți, reprezentând o dublare a bazei de clienți în decurs de un trimestru. La finalul anului 2010, numărul total de clienți ai Cosmote, incluzându-i și pe cei ai Zapp, a ajuns la 6,9 milioane, dintre care 21,9% sunt abonați.

Responsibilities:

• Processes collected data during the field survey and indicate the ideal radio  site locations in terms of radio coverage;
• Collaborates with MW Planning and Site Acquisition & Licensing Offices in order to minimize the overall cost of site identifying the most appropriate alternative;
• Designs the radiant system in order  to maximize the area served by a certain radio location;
• Monitors the existing radio network indicators in order to propose measures for continuously improvement of its quality;
• Analyzes the customers complains and propose corrective actions in order to improve   radio systems;
• Performs field surveys according to the monthly schedule;
• Prepares site survey reports and site orders issued to the Network Implementation Department;
• Updates all the databases related to the RF parameters

Requirements

• University degree in Electronics – Telecommunications;
• Internship or involvement in relevant projects/activities for the radio domain represents an asset;
• Strong knowledge of the radio propagation models used in GSM/UMTS;
• Very good understanding of the architecture of the cellular telecommunication networks;
• Proficiency in computer usage;
• Very good command of English (spoken and written);
• Driving license B category;
• Analytical thinking;
• Detail oriented with the ability to meet deadlines; capacity to work independently with minimal supervision and handle multiple projects simultaneously;
• Good organizing and planning skills
