Overall aim: upgrade research potential of host to obtain results in
the field of development of new light mechatronic systems based on
dynamics and control optimisation. Objectives:
– build experimental layout for the testing of light mechatronic
systems, with an emphasis on the application of fluidic muscles and
pneumatic drives, particularly applications in robotics, gripping
systems
– data acquisition and processing (identify and use exisiting and/or
develop dedicated software for data processing)
– match experimental data against theoretical modelling, corrections validation
– set up data base with validated models
