Each year in July/August, the IMPRS-ESM calls for application for a
number of doctoral positions at the school. The application procedure
comprises an initial on-line registration, which is followed by the
submission of the IMPRS-ESM application form along with the requested
copies of documents and certificates. After careful evaluation of
eligible applications, the most qualified applicants will be invited
for an interview. Successful candidates will be offered a doctoral
position, which may be financially supported by either a stipend or a
doctoral contract. The IMPRS-ESM office will assist international
candidates with the transition to Germany. Upon admission, the
enrolling University requests the presentation of the originals of
