Description
The student will join the Developers Products Division, a department that creates tools for developers.
The team in Romania is focused on implementing the software part of a revolutionary Intel product.
The team is closely working with its HW counterpart as the project consists of new CPU instructions and a complex set of software libraries which efficiently expose the new functionality.

The intern will be in charge of creating applications and systems which automatically verify the correctitude and the quality of the product developed by the team.
The intern analyzes the results to ensure correct functionality of these products.
The intern will consult with his fellow colleagues that are in charge of developing the product in order to determine the root cause of the problems and to provide feedback.

Qualifications:
Minimum skills and experience:
– Good C/C++ software development experience for Linux* – to write tests apps, from scratch – apps which check the product’s libraries.
– Knowledge on the scripting languages – to enable new functionality in the Building, Validation and Reporting infrastructure that is being developed 100% in Romania.
– Java* software development knowledge.

Extended skills and experience:
– Good C/C++, 2+ years of experience, with understanding of how C++ is working.
– 3m+ of Android Software and Device Driver development experience, using Android* SDK & NDK
– Understanding of Android Application Framework internals, processes and Dalvik VM.
– Python, Bash, Perl.
